CoM: Melissa, tell us about what you do.

MJC: I've been a Broadway wardrobe supervisor for 16 years and I sew for TV. I also make masks and puppets. And I alter costumes.

CoM: What inspires you?

MJC: Stuff I see. Current events. Things that look fun.

CoM: How did your life in costumes begin??

MJC: I saw star wars and knew I wanted to work with costumes, even if I didn't know what that meant exactly... I just knew whatever THAT was, it was for me.

CoM: What's your favorite thing about costumes?

MJC: Helping people. Making people feel good. Seeing a finished product.
