CoM: DORA, HOW DID YOU FIRST LEARN ABOUT CARNEVALE IN VENICE, ITALY?
DBH: I first went to Venice during Carnevale time over 35 years ago.
CoM: WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT CARNEVALE?
DBH: The artistic combination of masks, color, tradition, and art.
CoM: HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE CARNEVALE TO SOMEONE WHO HAS NEVER BEEN?
DBH: Carnevale is a tradition where people dress up with wonderful, eccentric costumes. Sometimes they spend all year planning the design and it becomes a real work of art.

DBH: I am a creator of Carnevale photos, using the lens to keep the wonderful images from the past and future while I still can. I’m trying to show up in London to several places and even submit this year to the Royal Academy of Arts in London.
CoM: WHAT IS A GO-TO CARNEVALE BUSINESS FOR YOU?
DBH: My fellow photographers: Roberto Rinaldi, Gianni La Motta, R. Krossa.
