CoM: BARBARA, WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT CARNEVALE?
BVG: The atmosphere, the decor, the surprise encounters. It is so inspiring.
CoM: HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE CARNEVALE TO SOMEONE WHO HAS NEVER BEEN?
BVG: Venice Carnival is a time travel experience extraordinaire. A feast for the eyes.
CoM: WHAT IS A GO-TO CARNEVALE BUSINESS FOR YOU?
BVG: I always try-out to buy artisan items from local artists: Juliana Longo, Zora da Venezia and Gualti.

CoM: ANYTHING ELSE YOU’D LIKE TO SHARE WITH US?
BVG: In my wonderful Something Extra studio in Delft, Netherlands, people can book time travel sessions. I have a wide variety of costumes. You can step into a painting of Dutch Masters such as Rembrandt or Vermeer. We perform in all kinds of places like museums and art openings. I also bring a lot of costumes to Venice every year!
