CoM: ALESSANDRO, HOW DID YOU FIRST LEARN ABOUT CARNEVALE IN VENICE, ITALY?

AA: I have known about the Venice Carnival since childhood. I experienced it through the eyes of my father, a photographer, who taught me to see beyond the masks and fall in love with images, light, and the silent poetry of this extraordinary celebration.

CoM: WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT CARNEVALE?

AA: I love the way Carnevale suspends time. The quiet dialogue between masks and shadows, the elegance of gestures, and the feeling that, for a few days, Venice reveals its soul through beauty, mystery, and silence.
